Sports Biography:

First Woman to participate on an all men's team as long time member of the Detroit Sparks. First Woman to compete in an NWBT (1981-Westland Michigan). Instrumental in organizing the 1st National Women's Wheelchair Basketball Tournament in 1975. Member of the 1st Women's Paralympic Basketball Team (1968-Tel Aviv). Member of USA Paralympic Women's Team (1972-Heidelburg, 1976-Toronto, 1980-Arnhem). Competed in four Pan American Games and several Stoke Mandeville competitions. Named "Female Athlete of The Year" for the State of Michigan in 1974, along with Detroit Tiger Baseball Player Al Kaline. Member of the WSUSA Hall of Fame.
