The Executive Committee of the Junior Division has posted a new Top 32 teams for the 2009-2010 Season. The five qualifying regionals have been played and the ten teams who have won bids at those regionals are marked with a star. Any teams who have not attended a regional tournament can still attend the last Junior Division regional tournament at Lakeshore in February. The final six bids to the Varsity Division National Tournament will be up for grabs at each of the six Conference Tournaments still to be played. After those 16 teams have been determined, the following 16 ranked teams will be given bids for the 2009-2010 Junior National Invitational Tournament (formerly JV Nationals) to be held in Denver in conjunction with the Varsity Tournament. Any team who is currently in the top 28 is in a very good position to attend one of the two Junior 10' Division National Championships and can safely begin making their travel arrangements for the tournament. If you are currently ranked in the top 28 and will not be choosing to attend the National Tournament, please notify Doug Garner ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) ASAP and the EC will award that bid to the next available team. Best wishes to all of the Junior Division teams as you compete at the final Regional Tournament and your end of year Conference Championships. We are looking forward to some great games in Denver! |
