NWBA Announces 2024 Intercollegiate Division National Championship Sites and Dates

UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE TO HOST 2024 NWBA INTERCOLLEGIATE DIVISION NATIONALS

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. - The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is excited to announce the dates and sites for the 2024 NWBA Intercollegiate Division Wheelchair Basketball National Championships.  
  
The NWBA Women’s Intercollegiate National Championship will be held at the University of Alabama for a second consecutive year on March 7-9, 2024, in Tuscaloosa, AL. While for the first time since 2018, the NWBA Men’s Intercollegiate National Championship will be held on the campus of Southwest Minnesota State University on March 13-16, 2024, in Marshall, MN.   

"We are pleased to announce the designated venues for our esteemed National Championships in the Collegiate Division in the 2023-2024 season,” said elected President of Intercollegiate Division, Darrell Hargreaves. “Our sincere appreciation goes to the respective programs and staff for graciously agreeing to host these events. With great anticipation, we look forward to an exceptional season and the culmination of thrilling championships.”  

University of Alabama will look to defend its status as national champions after capturing titles on both the men’s and women’s sides in 2023.   
  
The NWBA Intercollegiate Division Wheelchair Basketball National Championships features the top collegiate wheelchair basketball teams in the nation. For the 2022-23 season the NWBA Intercollegiate Division was represented by 12 colleges; and a total of eleven Men’s teams and six Women’s teams.
