Special Events at 2024 NWBA Adult Division Wheelchair Basketball National Championships
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO – The Adult Division Executive Committee of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) are excited to announce it will be hosting a series of special events at the 2024 NWBA Adult National Wheelchair Basketball Championships on April 12-14 in Richmond, Virginia. The events will provide the athletes with a unique playing experience and feature many of the talented athletes from the Adult Division.
Both events are scheduled for Friday, April 12 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center and are FREE to participate in!

THREE-POINT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, PRESENTED BY ABC MEDICAL
Calling all sharpshooters! At 2:00 PM, on Friday, April 12, the NWBA will hold the Adult Division Three-Point Contests on Courts 15 and 16 (finals on Court 15), featuring one participant per Adult Division team. Signups to occur on-court at time of competition.
One participant from each team is permitted to compete. Participants will be given 60 seconds to knock down as many three-pointers as possible, with the top four finishers from each division advancing to the finals. In the finals, each remaining contestant will have 75 seconds with the top scorer of the final four for each division named the winner.
All three winners, one from each Adult Division, will be awarded a prize!
The event is presented by ABC Medical.
ROOKIE GAME, PRESENTED BY PROJECTKIX
The second annual NWBA Rookie Game is scheduled for Friday, April 12 at 2:00 PM on Court 11 at the Henrico Sports & Events Center. Check out some of our top Adult Division rookies who are competing at their first-ever National Championship Tournament.
The participation in this event is by 'invitation only'. The NWBA Adult Division Executive Committee has previously issued the invitations to the participants for this event.
