Erich Groezinger Named NWBA Membership Services and Programs Manager

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO. – The National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) is excited to announce the hiring of Erich Groezinger to the role of Membership Services and Programs Manager.

In Erich’s new role with the National Office, he will help administer our sport, provide quality customer service to members, and enhance program offerings by the NWBA while making a positive impact on our organization and individuals with physical disabilities.

“As a lifetime advocate for sport participation, I am beyond excited to be working for such an esteemed organization whose mission reflects my passion for competition and inclusion,” said Groezinger.

Groezinger joins the NWBA with an extensive background in data and analytics. Through the formation of his LLC, The Groezinger Group, he was able to successfully operate sports science and high performance consultation services while serving in the role as High Performance Director at Miami University (Ohio).

Prior to his time in Ohio, he worked at USA Triathlon as a Project Manager, where he supported the development and implementation of annual business plans, including scope definition and management, QA control, staff supervision and performance tracking. He also served in similar roles at UCHealth and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Groezinger received his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Nutrition from Miami University in 2015 and the following year earned his master’s in Exercise and Health Science. In 2021, he received his MBA from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business.
